I’ve always found medicine fascinating, and creating concepts is fun (don’t tell the client)! I’m proud to have made a good living at it for over 20 years. I’ve worked on everything from diapers to injectable antibiotics, from patient booklets to product monographs to Web sites. Along the way, I’ve met and mentored some of the smartest people I know.

Creative work from pitches to launches and throughout the brand life cycle

  • Launching blockbuster drugs, including Unisyn, Tequin, Axid, Januvia
  • Gaining extensive experience in a broad range of other products, from OTC to ethical drugs, plus nutritional products and devices
  • Working on interactive Web sites, e-blasts, electronic visual aids, others

  • Being the chief creative contact for accounts at 4 pharmaceutical companies
  • Supervising 10 writers and 4 editors
  • Creating a trainee program, mentoring 3 trainees who all succeeded in medical advertising
  • Learning about a broad range of medical topics
  • Working on Prozac, the first blockbuster drug of the 1990s
